Maeg and I have a quarterly-ish tradition where we talk about how we do timing work for clients (think: year ahead readings, transits, soft and hard prediction, profections, etc) and whether we’re even that good at it. Ok, it’s mostly me fretting about proficiency (Maeg is a little more rigorous than I am), but we do chat a lot about which techniques actually work and how we know. Picking apart technique and the how and why behind it is like candy for Virgo people like us.
That’s why I decided to invite Maeg back for the very first special timing edition of Live Mini Chart Readings! For those of you who are new:
Every month, I host live mini chart readings for my paid subscribers! It’s a zoom event that’s exactly what it sounds like: 3 people are randomly selected to get a mini chart reading from me, focusing on what stands out to me, and how I would approach delineating and prepping that chart in a real client session. I made this offering to give learners a peek behind the curtain of my actual chart reading process, and to give folks a chance to get some chart insight without investing in a whole reading.
Timing edition will be the same, but with a focus on your current timing considerations, like you’d get in a transits or year ahead reading! Maeg and I will both outline how we’d prep for a timing reading with you, and what themes we see jumping out in your current timing right away. Since timing is much more prep heavy than a natal reading, be prepared for a little jeopardy music while we take it all in and calculate the necessary info.
This is a rare opportunity to see the secret sauce from two professionals. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve watched a lecture or taken a class on a timing technique like solar returns, and sighed heavily seeing the technique applied to a celebrity chart example. I always long to see the technique applied to actual people’s charts: to have the connections not just pointed out, but explained in down to earth ways I can actually trace. That’s exactly what you’ll get in this event! Whether your chart is selected for a mini reading or not, you’ll get 3 actual-real-life-person examples of how we actually apply timing techniques to charts.

Will there be a recording if I can’t make it live?
Yes!
Can I submit my chart for a mini reading if I can’t make it live?
No, only people who are there with us live on zoom are eligible to have their chart read.
How do you decide whose chart to read?
Anyone who wants to be considered picks a number between 1-20 and puts it in the zoom chat. Then I roll a d20, and whoever’s number is closest to my roll is the first person to get a reading!
Can I get a mini chart reading if I’ve already had a reading with you or Maeg?
Nope, only people we haven’t worked with before! That way it’s a true cold read, and folks who haven’t had a reading yet can get a little free insight.
Can I get the mini chart reading without my chart being shown on screen?
No, this is a learning experience for all, so please be willing to provide your birth data, show your chart on screen, and give some basic feedback!
Where is the zoom link?
It will be sent out on August 20th via email, substack chat, and discord!
